The industry is constantly evolving, and we are on the journey. The department for anchoring analysis is a central piece in testing designs that form the basis for engineering. We also check for compliance between what was on the drawing board and what is actually out at sea.We help to ensure that fish do not escape from aquaculture facilities due to the anchoring.

Required qualifications
- Master's or bachelor's degree in marine technology or relevant technical education/work experience
– Good IT skills, including 3D modelling (AutoCAD, AquaSim or similar) and programming (e.g. Python)
– Experience with hydrodynamic and structural analyses
– Good knowledge of and experience with artificial intelligence (AI)
– Excellent presentation skills in Norwegian and English – both spoken and written
Solution-oriented, willing to put in the effort, and a high capacity for work
– Structured and proactive, delivering on time with the correct quality
Tasks and responsibilities
Modelling and analysis of mooring systems
- Work with technical analyses is primarily carried out independently, but also in teams
- Contribute to the department's continuous quality work, particularly on automation and efficiency
– Comply with all applicable laws and regulations from the authorities at all times
Workplace
Preferably Bodø, but other locations can be considered.
